I'm home sick today and thought I might as well blog!!
Question of the week.....What lipgloss would you have if you could only have one?
For me im pretty sure it would have to be one of my bath and body works tubes. Why? well....
-All of their colors are very flattering on me
-they smell AMAZING
-They are very affordable(especially when on clearance)
-It comes with a lot of product for so little money
-None of them set into the lines of your lipstick like I find MAC ones do
-Every skin tone can find their perfect match!!

Nail of the Day: Strawberries!!!
hey guys!!
Today i Painted my nails with strawberries on them!!! Insert awesome picture here:
The color red I used was the loreal paris in caught red-handed. Its a deep red with some subtle gold shimmer for an added pop. You can use any brand or shade of green or white depending on your taste the procedure is as follows:
1. File nails
2.Apply base coat
3. Apply two coats of red nail polish
4.After red has fully dried, Paint three mini green triangles at the bottom of your nail going no farther than half way up.
5. paint 4 or 5 white dots with a nail art pen or brush on the tops of your nail
6.Apply a top coat
Voila!! You're done!!!

Splurge or Save?
Hey guys!! So today, I was discussing with my friend about what makeup to buy cheap ex. eyeshadow foundation ect. and we had great differences in opinion! So I thought I would share my opinions with you!!
Face:
Primer:You HAVE to splurge on good primers this goes for face,eye,lips, ANYTHING!! Primers are your base.It will make any foundation look better and stay on longer!!
Concealer:Personally, I haven't found a good concealer drugstore or high end yet. So this one i'm not sure about!
Foundation: I think you could get either. But you can definitely save if you wanted to on one at the drugstore!!
Tinted Moisterizers: I own 3: Covergirl CG smoothers, ELF studio line, and laura mercier. For me, it's a splurge. I'm in love with my laura mercier and don't find myself reaching fo the other two very often!!
Powder:I have a variety of different powder brands: MAC,ELF,maybelline,bare minerals, nyc, mary kay ect. but i find i love them all just the same. I think you could save on this product. My drugstore favorite?
Maybelline mineral power pressed powder!!!
Highlighters: I think you can definitely save on this one. I LOVE my elf shimmering facial whips and shimmer palette. the facial whips were $1 and the palette was $3(:
Blushes: In general, I love my MAC blush but there are some really awesome drugstore blushes too.It depends on if you are really into blushes and are willing to pay a lot. Personally I buy drugstore on this one
Bronzers: I haven't really experimented to much with bronzer because I find it looks weird on my skin, but i own 3: elf countering blush & bronzer duo, Victorias secret, and elf $1 line.But, i've tried on laguna before and I really love it so I think you should splurge..? I'm really not the best person to ask though!!!
Eyes:

Cream shadow(Base):I would say these are a save. I own both high end(Laura Mercier, MAC) and lower end(elf,revlon,NYX) and actually find myself reaching for the lower end ones more!!
Eyeshadow: TOTALLY depends on brand. Typically, high end ones are nice( but there are some exceptions) although some lower end brands are seriously awesome(my elf shadow palette is AMAZING). In general you could half save...?I don't know you just have to research the brand!!
Eyeliner:Save, i love all my elf liners, my forever 21 liners, my physicians formula gel cream liners ect.
Mascara: If you were to buy all your makeup high end except for one item, this would be that one. I get all my mascara drugstore

March 2011 beauty wish list!!!!

I have recently been eyeing a few makeup products...as always(:
These are just a few in which i'm eager to try..
1. MAC cremeblush in Ladyblush
Gosh, this is SO gorgeous! I was so sad to hear these are being discontinued. I've been eyeing this blush since last summer but couldn't get myself to shell out the cash! Cream blushes are my absolute favorite type of blush! I'm definitely picking it up before its discontinued!
2. Nars in general
I've been super curious about Nars since last spring when I first heard about it. I've tried a bunch of other high end brands but never got around to Nars. I was thinking about trying one of their blushes in Gilda, Gina, or Angelika or the Lagune bronzer but I'm not sure.....What's your favorite Nars product?
3. Bobbi Brown in general
I've been wanting to try Bobbi Brown since 6th grade when my best friend of the time told me it was her favorite brand. I'm not sure what to try from her so suggestions in the comments(:?
4. Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation
I love the tinted moisturizer by Laura Mercier and have heard just as amazing things about the foundation so why not? $42 is i'm pretty sure the reason but if I get it as a gift.....(: haha
5. Benefit high beam
Also have wanted to try this forever. Everytime I go to Sephora I try this on and LOVE it ahh in a perfect world I would own 12 of those(:
6. Maybelline Dream mousse concealer
I already have the benefit erase paste but....this concealer looks amazing too!!! I've been wanting to try this for a few months now and will probably purchase super soon!!!
7. Urban Decay naked palette
Do I even have to get into why i want this?

Hey guys! Long time no...type? Haha(: Anyways, Today i'm Going to do another review on a product..
Rimmel Color Rush quad eyeshadows!!!Actually no exclamation points. This products sucks.
This is what the packaging looks like:
I got it in the color 016 Urban Flower. Its just your basic powder eyeshadow and the Nt. Worth is .14oz(if anyone cares).
This is how the product looks WITHOUT the plastic covering:
Swatches going in order left to right top to bottom(you know what I mean):
Yea. I think that should sum up my whole review those were THE best swatches i could get. I layered the shadows over time and time again and i could barley catch it on camera. For more details keep on reading.......
Color:Urban Flower; A shimmery mint green, light brown with gold shimmer, a deep olive with gold shimmer, and a nice light neutral highlight color. All in all great colors!
Pigmentation: TERRIBLE!!!warning do NOT buy these for pigmentation!!

cons: Like I said, horrible pigmentation, when you try and blend the color it like dissolves into your skin so theres no more color, chalky

Awesome ways to use Translucent face powder!!!
Translucent face powder- Its a must for every makeup bag! Most of us just use it to set our foundation but did you know there were other uses.....?
1. Have you ever overdone your eyeshadow? Dont try to wipe it off- it'll just smear like crazy!!! Instead take a puff and put some translucent face powder on it. Gently pat it on your eyes to mellow out the color!
2.Stop raccoon-eyes makeup meltdowns! Sweep a bit of translucent face powder under your eyes! Bonus: it will set your under eye concealer without it creasing!
3.To keep eyeshadow in its place, sweep some translucent face powder on your eyelids before applying shadow!
4.To make your lashes look thicker, put a little translucent face powder(with your eyes closed of course!) on them before you apply your mascara!
5.Your eyeliner way to dark? Dust some translucent face powder over it with an eyeliner brush! Bonus: The powder will set your liner and make it last much longer!!!

Review:Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Blushes(Cream & Powder)
Hey guys!
Today, is a rave kind of day.
I am seriously LOVING these blushes they are so awesome!!!
This is what the packaging looks like:
The one with the gold packaging is the powder(poppy) and the one with the green packaging is the cream(sunset).
Both of them side by side opened, left is sunset(cream), right is poppy(powder):

Powder
Color:poppy; light pink with gold shimmer
Pigmentation:AMAZING you don't need to much
Price:at drugstores I think it was around $8 regular price but I got mine 75% off!!! $2.50?
PROS: gives off a very glowy look,nuetral(goes with anything), would work well with most skin tones
CONS:Like I said, VERY pigmented,be careful
Overall: really like it for a powder blush

color:Sunset,dark matte maroonish color
pigmentation: SO SO SO SO pigmented like nothing i've ever seen before
Price: same as poppy, bought them together
PROS:If you apply it lightly, gives the most dewy effect to your face, great for those of us who wear powder foundation
CONS:DON'T USE TO MUCH!!!I'm warning you now, it's absolutely stunning if you apply it sparingly. It is called sheerest cream blush, which is a total lie.
Overall: Favorite cream blush I own, and I own a TON

Color:poppy; light pink with gold shimmer
Pigmentation:AMAZING you don't need to much
Price:at drugstores I think it was around $8 regular price but I got mine 75% off!!! $2.50?
PROS: gives off a very glowy look,nuetral(goes with anything), would work well with most skin tones
CONS:Like I said, VERY pigmented,be careful
Overall: really like it for a powder blush

pigmentation: SO SO SO SO pigmented like nothing i've ever seen before
Price: same as poppy, bought them together
PROS:If you apply it lightly, gives the most dewy effect to your face, great for those of us who wear powder foundation
CONS:DON'T USE TO MUCH!!!I'm warning you now, it's absolutely stunning if you apply it sparingly. It is called sheerest cream blush, which is a total lie.
Overall: Favorite cream blush I own, and I own a TON

Hey Guys!
